  • January 2001 – Community Assistance Provider opens as an independent not-for-profit (501(c)3) in Columbia, South Carolina.
  • September 2002 – Current - CAP creates 15-20 new homeowners each year.
  • July 2008 – CAP purchased first NSP (National Stabilization Program) homes.
  • March 2010  - CAP received  National Housing Assistance Council’s Thrive Award.
  • August 2011 -  CAP received The South Carolina State Association of Community Development Corporation’s (SCACDC) Eagle Award as the highest performing CDC of the year.
  • April 2013 - CAP Received the “Creative Partnership in Housing Development” Award from The South Carolina State Housing Authority
